We couldn’t do what we do without our volunteers.
Mint Artists relies on volunteers to write grants and serve as experts at our business of art workshops. Volunteers also assist us at art fairs and exhibits and help with finances and future planning. Volunteers created and help us update this website. (Thank you, Jackie, Kelly, Michelle and Jess!) Some will deliver our Paint Detroit with Generosity paintings to their new nonprofit homes.
And we always welcome new people to help us with fundraising, special projects and connections in our Mint Ambassadors, a group of dedicated people who help us grow. If you’d like to be considered as a Mint Ambassador, please drop us a line; tell us who you are and why you’re interested in Mint Artists Guild.
Our volunteer needs – both virtual and in person – are posted regularly on VolunteerMatch . We also share select Detroit area volunteer roles on ShareDetroit.
If you’d like to help out in other ways, fill out this Volunteer interest form. We’d love to hear from you.
Mint volunteers too!
Mint Artists volunteers at arts and crafts tables, by bringing our coloring pages and creativity to community and nonprofit events about once a quarter. (If you run a business or a larger, well funded nonprofit, we must show up as paid crew.) We need at least 35 days advance notice so if you want us to help out, creatively, at your event, please contact us early.
