Join us for our first art show in Chelsea, Mi., and see a wide variety of paintings and photographs created by Detroit youth showing justice, injustice and joy. Justice paintings represent immigrants, women, Black Lives Matter, historic moments of civil rights and more.
Many of the Justice and Joy artwork will be for sale, and almost all of it was created in the Mint Creative Summer Jobs program. A few prints are available to take home immediately.
The opening reception Nov. 24 at Gallery 100 will give you the opportunity to meet a few Mint Artists and learn more about our nonprofit. (Gallery 100 is located within the Silver Maples senior living complex.) The exhibit is up through Jan. 6, 2025, so please stop in and check out the wide variety of images.
Here is the Facebook event so you can invite your friends and coworkers.
